My training

Born in Mendoza, Argentina, María Alejandra Oliva graduated in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Center for Naturopathic and Acupuncture Studies (CENAC) in Barcelona, Spain. She also earned a diploma in Naturopathy from the Inter-American Open University of Buenos Aires, which allowed her to integrate Eastern therapeutic approaches with local academic knowledge.

Her training was enriched by participation in numerous postgraduate conferences alongside renowned international professionals such as Dr. Tran Viet and Dr. Sona Tahan, and by postgraduate studies at Nanjing University in China. Throughout her career, she established herself as a Professor of Chinese Martial Arts, specializing in Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan (2nd Tuan), with national certification as an International Instructor in Argentina (MN 023).

She has been awarded the title of "Best Athlete in the Chinese Martial Arts category" four times and was a three-time winner of the Jorge Newbery Prize, awarded by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires (2012, 2013, and 2014). Her career is closely linked to teaching and transmitting knowledge, as she is a disciple of Master Dr. Lin Ching Sung (9 Tuan – Traditional Chinese Kuoshu), president of the Latin American Kuoshu Federation and the Argentine Tai Chi Chuan Federation.

Internationally, her prestige led her to serve as an International Judge of Taichi Chuan at the “5th International Judge Seminar” in 2012, also participating in more than a dozen world tournaments and championships in countries such as Taiwan, where she obtained more than a dozen medals that position her as one of the most outstanding Argentine representatives in this martial art.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatments

Creator of the method: Tai Kang

The method is based on conscious movements focused on holistic health and well-being. It combines ancient Eastern techniques, such as Tai Chi, Kung Fu, and Qigong, integrating them into an accessible practice that seeks to harmonize the body, mind, and vital energy.

Through sequences of slow, fluid movements coordinated with the breath, functional strength and flexibility are developed, especially in the spine, promoting healthy posture and toned muscles without creating tension. The method fosters a deep connection with the breath and mindfulness, thus developing concentration, balance, and internal energy (Chi).

More than a physical discipline, it's a path to self-knowledge and vitality. Each practice aims to restore the natural flow of energy, relieve stress, improve joint mobility, and strengthen the immune system. In this way, the body regains its natural strength, the mind quiets, and the individual experiences a sense of balance and overall well-being.
